Hello!

My name is Leroy Manning IV (but I go by LJ). This is my beautiful wife Emily, and my handsome boys, Leroy Manning V (he goes by Leo) and Zion. I was born and raised in the northeast, but love living in the northwest. Since turning 18, I have lived in six different states, two different countries, and have had all kinds of jobs. Anything from being a Dental Hygienist’s Assistant to being a street performing card magician. However, I’ve always had an interest and passion for video.

I have been a film buff since I was about 8, and I was able to take my first videography class when I started high school. While I’d like to say everything I’ve learned after high school was self-taught, I’ve had a lot of help and some great mentors along the way. Then, shortly after marrying my wife, I was able to start my own company.

My love for video is all about the story telling. All of life is a series of narratives; stories being told over and over through ever changing mediums. Even our memories are simply stories we are retelling ourselves. However, all too often the beauty and wonder of a story can be lost in the busyness of life. Video allows for the opportunity to set that busyness aside, see through the mundane, and focus on the beauty of a story. This is what I hope to capture with all of my videos.
